Which conditions should be met for Swiss CNC Machining

Which conditions should be met for Swiss CNC Machining?

The Swiss machining center is a very common processing equipment in the field of CNC machining. It is mainly divided into two shapes: horizontal machining center and vertical machining center. For external processing, let's take a look at what conditions the processing center needs to meet today.

  • Humidity and temperature

The processing environment of the Swiss machining center is generally below 30 degrees. If the ambient humidity and temperature used are too high, the service life of the control system components will be reduced. Secondly, if the environmental humidity is too high, it will cause the circuit board to malfunction.

Which conditions should be met for Swiss CNC Machining

  • Current and voltage control

There are more equipment in the workshop of the machining center, which will form a relatively large power grid. We need to control the voltage and current within the allowable range of the Swiss machining center and keep it stable. The power supply should be controlled at 380V( plus or minus 10%) , and use three-phase alternating current.

  • Installation environment

The Swiss machining center should be far away from the vibration source and avoid direct sunlight. If it is impossible to avoid the vibration source, shock-proof grooves should be set. A good installation environment can reduce the failure rate of the Swiss machining center during use, and also has benefits in improving the machining accuracy.

  • Milling cutter

The milling cutter used on the Swiss machining center should be made of all cemented carbide, and the general milling machine should be made of white steel. Cemented carbide is made by powder metallurgy, so it is the hardness can reach about 90HRA, and the thermal property can reach about 900-1000 degrees.

The above are the conditions that the Swiss machine needs to meet, welcome to read.
